Ellen LeRoy specializes in the art of island and beach photography on Emerald Isle, NC and the surrounding area. Ellen's unique understanding of the island and its lighting and weather patterns enables her to capture the island and her subjects in the best possible way. Ellen times her photo sessions to coincide with the perfect light, producing high quality images and her signature style. To further ensure superior results, Ellen limits the number of clients per week to only two, guaranteeing the personal attention her fine art photography requires. Among other national and state awards, Ellen received the prestigious Kodak Gallery Award and the Professional Photographers of North Carolina President's Award for the highest scoring new artist in print competition in 2005. Her photography has been featured on the covers of magazines and newspapers. Ellen has a fine art degree from Tulane University and studied figure drawing at Oxford University in England. Ellen taught elementary school until having her two boys (so she has lots of experience with active young children!). While raising her children, she developed her passion for photography, and--- through word of mouth--- a business began to form. Ellen is blessed to be following her dream, and she looks forward to sharing the gift she has been given with others.Portrait Information

Pricing
Pricing Information Family portrait sessions require a $400 deposit during the months of June, July, and August. This includes a $200 sitting fee, and a $200 credit towards your purchases. Multiple families are welcomed for no additional fee. Please contact us for our off-season pricing as well as the individual print prices and portrait packages. Wedding packages start at $2850 for a four hour package. Please e-mail us for more details and other package options. In your contact, it is helpful to include your wedding date, if known, and the approximate number of hours you would like included in your package. Custom packages are available upon request. Availability At this point in the year, most weeks in August still have availability for portrait sessions. Please inquire for your specific dates. June 13th through July 25th are now full. The following dates are no longer available for weddings in 2009: March 7 March 21 April 4 April 25 May is full June 13 June 20 July 18 July 25 August 1 August 22 September 12 September 17 October 10 If your wedding date is booked, please contact me, and I will be happy to send you a list of other photographers in the area who I would recommend.
